What people bring here
Whatever it is, you can say it in plain words.
You do not need the right term for it, and you do not need it organised before you arrive. Here is some of what people bring in, described the way they usually describe it.

Do I need to know what is wrong before I come in?
No. Most people start with a description, not a label. Something is off, or something happened, or the way you are getting through the week has stopped working.
My job is not to hand you a category. It is to understand what your life actually feels like from the inside, and then work with you on what would make it better.
What if more than one of these fits?
That is usual. Grief and burnout travel together. Anxiety and a hard stretch in a relationship feed each other. The pages below are separate for the sake of reading, not because people arrive that tidy.
Two things are true: you are doing the best you can with what you have, and there is something better available to build. We hold both, and we work as a team on goals that are specific and achievable.
Where does yours land?

PTSD and traumaSomething that happened is still setting the terms of your days.

-
Depression and low moodEverything takes more than it used to, and gives back less.
-
Grief and lossMissing someone, and having nowhere to put it.
-
Stress and burnoutStill functioning, and running on nothing.
-
Relationship issuesThe same argument, in a different room.
-
Life transitionsThe old life ended, and the new one has not started yet.
