Where I practise

I am licensed in Nebraska and Rhode Island. I meet clients in person in Omaha, and online across Nebraska and Rhode Island.

How does the geography actually work?

There is one office, and it is in Omaha. If you are in the metro and you want to sit in a room with someone, that is the room.

Everywhere else in Nebraska, we meet online. A video session is a real session, not a lesser version of one, and for a lot of people the drive was the thing standing in the way.

Rhode Island is online only. I hold a licence there and I see clients by video, but I am not physically in the state and there is no office to visit.

Does where I live change the work?

Not the method. It does change the texture of what walks in the door. A shift worker in the metro, a graduate student in Lincoln, and someone three hours from the nearest option are all carrying different practical constraints, and those constraints matter when we set goals.
