Terms of use
These terms cover the use of this website, which is operated by Rodric McClain Counseling, LLC. Using the site means you accept them.
Is anything on this site therapy?
No. Everything here is general information, written to help you decide whether to get in touch. It is not therapy, it is not medical advice, and it is not a clinical opinion about you or anyone else.
Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats, or assesses a condition. Descriptions of experiences are general descriptions, not statements about your situation.
Does reading this site or sending a message make me a client?
No. Browsing the site, reading a page, or submitting the contact form does not create a therapeutic relationship, a client relationship, or any duty of care.
A professional relationship begins only after an agreement is reached directly and the required paperwork is completed. Until then, no one is your therapist.
What about emergencies?
This site is not an emergency service and the contact form is not monitored around the clock. A message may not be seen for some time.
In a crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Veterans and service members can call 988 and press 1. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
How should I use the content?
You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal, non commercial use. The text, images, logo, and the two stroke mark used across the site belong to Rodric McClain Counseling, LLC and may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without written permission.
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, no unauthorised access, no automated scraping, and no submissions that are unlawful, abusive, or deliberately false.
What about links to other sites?
Some pages link to outside resources such as crisis lines. Those organisations are independent and their content and policies are their own.
A link is not an endorsement of everything an organisation does, and no responsibility is accepted for material on sites that are not this one.
What are the limits of liability?
The site is provided as is. Reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and available, but no guarantee is made that it will be free of errors, uninterrupted, or current at every moment.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rodric McClain Counseling, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its general information. Decisions about your health should be made with a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Anything else?
These terms may be updated, and the current version is the one posted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
