Different rooms, the same starting point.
Therapy starts with a conversation. Whether you come alone, with a partner, or with your whole household, the first session is mostly me listening and you deciding whether this feels like a fit.

How do I know which one I need?
You do not have to know. Most people start with a rough sense that something is off and we sort out the shape of it together. If it turns out the work belongs in a different room, we move it.
My primary method is DBT. In practice that means we hold two things at once: you are doing the best you can with what you have, and there are skills that will make the next month easier. Both are true. We work as a team on goals that are specific and achievable, so you can measure progress instead of guessing at it.
What does the work aim at?
Building a life worth living. Not a perfect one, and not one that looks good from the outside. One that is yours, that you want to be awake for.
