Grand Island

I meet with clients in Grand Island online, across Nebraska. My in person office is in Omaha.

Wide central Nebraska prairie in low evening light

What is different about central Nebraska?

Distance, and privacy. In a smaller community the therapist's waiting room may be visible from the street, and the person in the next chair may be someone you work with. That alone keeps people from going.

Online solves a problem that is often social rather than technical. Nobody has to see you walk in.

Who tends to get in touch from here?

Farmers and people in agriculture, whose stress arrives on a schedule set by weather and markets. Meatpacking and manufacturing workers on demanding shifts. Rural first responders who answer calls involving people they know by name.

Veterans too, often ones who came home to a town where the nearest useful appointment is a long drive and the waiting list is longer.

Is video really enough?

It is a real session. Same hour, same method, same attention. For people who would otherwise get nothing, it is not a compromise, it is the whole difference.

You need a private space and a connection that holds. If the connection drops, we deal with it and carry on. That is not a reason to stay away.

What would we work on?

Whatever you bring, in your words. DBT is my primary method, and the skills are practical: riding out the worst hour without adding damage, handling feelings that show up at full volume, saying hard things without burning a relationship you need.

We set goals as a team, keep them specific and achievable, and revise them when life changes. The office is in Omaha at [CONFIRM-ADDRESS] if you ever want to make the drive.

Ready when you are.

Therapy starts with a conversation. Send a short message and tell me what is going on, in your own words. We meet in person in Omaha, and online across Nebraska and Rhode Island.
